plastic surgery consultation

Whether you are interested in getting a rhinoplasty (nose job) or a breast augmentation (boob job), you will have to schedule a consultation with one of our surgeons at Cosmetic Surgery of NY beforehand. During your consultation you will undergo an examination, be able to ask questions, and will have to fill out some forms. Read on to learn more about three things that you can expect from your consultation.

Your Examination

As one of the most important parts of your consultation appointment, you will have to undergo a physical examination. During your exam, your potential surgical site will be measured, pictures will be taken, and the parts of your body around the surgical site will be evaluated. Additionally, your blood pressure will be taken and your heart will be monitored in order to ensure that you are in the best health possible.

Questions

Not only will you have questions for the surgeons but they will have questions for you as well. You will be asked questions regarding the results you are looking for, any problems that you have, and your medical history. During this time, make sure that you ask any questions about the procedure and recovery that you may have— by understanding exactly what you can expect, you can feel calm, cool, and collected before heading into surgery.

Paperwork

Before we can perform any type of surgery on you, you will have to fill out some paperwork regarding your insurance, medical history, and then fill out some waivers. If you have any questions regarding the paperwork, our staff can happily assist you.

A consultation is a necessary part of the surgical process. By understanding what outcome you are looking for with your surgery, we can help deliver you with the best results possible. To learn more about consultations or to schedule yours, contact Cosmetic Surgery of NY today!
